An exploratory session for children aged 18m up to aged 4 (preschool age). We set up various 'invitations to play' around the room for children to explore at their leisure during the hour we are together. The sessions are very much child led. We provide all the tools you need for our sessions, you bring the imagination and curiosity.
These sessions provide a chance for your little one to discover their creativity with mark making and exploring different art materials. Please dress your child with mess in mind. Although we have art overalls available for little ones, it is inevitable that children may dive in without a cover and get a little messy!
The price is per family, siblings are always welcome but activities will be geared towards 18 months up to 4 years. We are twin friendly and do not expect you to pay for each child, but do please add a note of age of children when booking and how many are included in your booking.
We welcome termly booking for those who love making art with us and offer a 10% discount for those who book 3 or more sessions in one booking and 20% for those who book a whole term (only 4 sessions this term) in advance in one booking. That's £19.20 for the whole term, £16.20 for 3 sessions or £6 per session for Pay As You Go. Discount applied automatically at the checkout.
You'll notice the Spring - Summer term is significantly shorter this time around due to the way the dates fall with school holidays and other events this years. We will have a Summer special during August again though, so watch this space for a bonus session!
These sessions are held on a Friday at 10am and last about an hour.

All our groups are held in our upstairs Snug area. Please park buggies downstairs and carry or support your child on the stairs. No.8 High Street is a 600+ year old Grade II listed building. The stairs are a little quirky and uneven. Please take care whilst climbing them.
