Room Hire - Snug

We offer our Snug area (upstairs) out to you, for hire at £3 per person for a 2 hour slot. This cosy space can be set up in a variety of ways to suit your needs. 

Maybe you want a space to meet for friends which is safe for little ones to play whilst you catch up over a cuppa?

Maybe you're a professional in the perinatal industry needing somewhere safe and quiet to meet with your clients? 

Or maybe you have a vision to run a small baby and toddler class, looking for an intimate but welcoming space to use, with a city centre location in Somerset?

We have a variety of comfy chairs and floor cushions and floor mats available to use, along with tea and coffee provided within the hire price. We provide a good selection of quality toys aimed at babies and toddlers for use whilst you are hiring the space. We ask that you leave everything as you find it and treat the space and items with respect. 

We have a unique price structure of £3 per person for a 2 hour slot. No hidden extra costs. The sessions available can be booked here up to 12 weeks in advance. The space is suitable for a maximum of 6 adults/ 6 family groups. Please indicate when booking any specific requests you have and what the space will be used for (e.g. social, business, group/class etc).

The Snug is upstairs above our shop space and is accessed via stairs only (no lift). We provide space to park buggies and prams downstairs and can help you with your belongings upstairs if needed. Young children will require help and support on the stairs as No.8 High Street is a 600+ year old building which is Grade II Listed. The stairs are a little quirky and uneven, but handrails are available to support you up and down plus a stair-gate is in position at the top. Please close this behind you once your whole party has arrived.
