Cancellation policy

Hire
All Slings, carriers and cloth nappies hired remain the property of Bronwyn's Baby at all times. Upon subscribing to hire the Hiree agrees to these terms.

The initial hire period for slings, carriers and cloth nappies is for 1 week from point of ordering.  If the sling or cloth nappy kit is not returned by the end of this period then the hire will be extended for an another weeks and so on. The card you used to secure the hire will be debited on the anniversary of the initial hire date (weekly or monthly).

Payment
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each period of hire. Due to the sling or cloth nappy kit being a hire arrangement we (Bronwyn's Baby) will cancel the auto-renewal once the sling or cloth nappy kit has been returned to us. To ensure you are not charged beyond the initial hire period please return your sling by closing hours on the final day of the hire period, in the same condition you hired it in. Should we have trouble processing your payment, we have 7 days to rectify this by contacting you for an alternative payment method. If this is not resolved we reserve the right to charge you £1 per day in late fees until payment is received or the sling, carrier or cloth nappies returned. 

Damage

All hires are checked thoroughly before handing over to customers. Should they arrive with any marks, stains or damage at all this should be reported immediately so we can resolve the issue. All carriers and cloth nappies have been freshly laundered for each hire using a gentle detergent. It is the Customers responsibility to check over condition before they hire the carrier or cloth nappies. 

Should any damage occur to the carrier or nappies whilst on hire this should be reported to us immediately. If the carrier are nappies are damaged beyond reasonable repair Bronwyn's Baby reserves the right to invoice the customer for full RRP cost of the product in question to be replaced. This invoice must be paid in full within 7 days. Bronwyn's Baby will take legal action using small claims court if this is not paid.

Returns
Returns should be made in person. Returns need to be RECEIVED by Bronwyn's Baby by the renewal date. Should they not be received then the next fortnight's payment will automatically be taken.

Washing

Customers should follow the washing guidelines for the cloth nappies, which are provided in the hire kit. Customers should not wash their hire sling or carrier. Bronwyn's Baby has freshly laundered the slings, carriers and cloth nappies on the clients behalf using gentle washing detergent. Should the sling or carrier require a wash whilst in the customers care then the customer MUST discuss with Bronwyn's Baby so we can issue specific washing instructions first. We expect carriers to be returned requiring a wash.

Care

Whilst the Customer has the sling or carrier on hire they must take care not to cause any damage. Please be extra mindful and careful with buckles in car doors, keys or sharp objects near delicate materials. Do not use any detergents, fabric softener or chemicals near the slings unless discussed first with Bronwyn's Baby.

Safety

Safety is the upmost priority to Bronwyn's Baby. Should the Customer ever be unsure that they are not using the sling, carrier or cloth nappies safely then please discuss with Bronwyn's Baby and we will be more than happy to offer support. In some cases this may be suggesting a zoom / video call session which is a chargeable service. In most occasions we can answer questions and resolve any concerns via email, the chatbox or social media messages. Clients should ensure they are always following TICKS safety rules when using a carrier or sling.
